|Matthieu Delouvrier: CEO, Paris
Matthieu spent 13 years, as a Director, at Lazard Frères in Paris, within the international department, responsible for emerging countries. Specifically Eastern Europe, Latin America and Africa.
Matthieu was involved in a wide range of financial services, including mergers & acquisitions, government advisory, privatization, project finance and debt restructuring. To this extent he was instrumental in the renegotiation of US$ 170 billion debts as an advisor to sovereign States such as Russia, Poland, Nigeria, Cameroon and Venezuela among others.
Matthieu is the founder of Swensee, a company specializing in International Management and Financial Advisory for corporations and governments.
|Dr. Belgrad Kenne: Nairobi
Belgrad started his career as a Private Equity Analyst in CentreCourt Monaco where he sourced and analyzed deals from East Africa mainly.
In 2010, he joined MIATV Holdings, a company operating in Mauritius, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and Zimbabwe, as COO before serving as head of Corporate Finance and Advisory at Afrika Investment Bank, a Nairobi-based financial intermediary.
In 2011, he founded Phase One Associates to advise foreign-based institutional investors on various opportunities across public and privately held companies operating in Frontier Africa.
Belgrad received his undergraduate degree in Management from the Riga Technical University, a Master’s in Finance, Hedge Funds and Private Equity from the International University of Monaco and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Paris School of Business.
|Francois-Xavier Tokpanou: Abidjan
Francois-Xavier is a professional banker, who started his career in Treasury and Capital Markets with Citibank as an FX and Money Markets trader. He then moved to positions of responsibilities as Head of Sales, Global Markets with Standard Chartered Bank in Cameroon, then as Head of Global Markets for the same institution, before moving back to Citibank as Country Treasurer in Cameroon, then Head of Global Markets Sales Francophone Africa for Standard Chartered Bank. In 2008, he was appointed as Deputy CEO of Banque Atlantique Cameroon and became CEO of the Bank in 2010.
Francois-Xavier has experience in banks acquisition and restructuring and has advised local corporations in M&A, private equity, as well as asset management transactions.
| Cedric Sirven: Paris
Cedric is an oil and gas expert with over 20 years of experience working in developing countries across Latin America and Africa.
Between 1993 and 1996, he served as the Deputy Manager of “Oil for Development”, a French oil and gas company with interests in Cuba. Thereafter, he joined PERBECAN where he spent 10 years on different roles including Vice President-Finance and COO.
In 2010, Cedric co-founded Prestoil SAS a Paris-based oil and gas Exploration Company active in Congo (Brazzaville). More recently, he served as the Secretary General of SMP, a French leader of onshore drilling operating in France, Gabon and Kenya. Cedric is a graduate of Ecole Superieur de Gestion (ESG).
