SwenPoints Programme

Preamble

Swensee has decided to set up a points programme for users. The aim of the programme is to stimulate user-participation and bring dynamism to the community and also to encourage subscribers to take advantage of the services available so that they are in a better position to meet their trade objectives.

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the membership and use of the SwenPoints programme and defines the rights and obligations of its users.

 

Article 1 - Definitions

A Manager is a member of the Swensee community that has subscribed to Swensee on the www.swensee.com website.

SwenPoints are points awarded through the use of the www.swensee.com website. The rules governing the purchase and the exchange value of SwenPoints are defined by Swensee (see below).

 

Article 2 - Description

All users of the programme are managers. Joining the SwenPoints programme is free and automatic.

The SwenPoints programme relies on the purchase of points generated by manager activities on the www.swensee.com website, in the way described below.

 

Article 3 - SwenPoints Programme

SwenPoints can be exchanged for SwenExpert questions.

100 SwenPoints points are equivalent to 1 Euro’s worth of questions.

 

Article 4 - Swensee contributors monthly ranking

Every month, a contributor ranking is done. The 10 bests are awarded with 10.000 SwenPoints.

To do this ranking we take in account positive responses to a contact request and publications on the website after the SwenMaster validation. The filling and accessibility levels of the profile are also taken into account.

Article 5 - Additional SwenPoints

Swensee reserves the right to award additional SwenPoints for various initiatives, in particular, for taking part in third party surveys.

 

Article 6 - Points score

You can see your points score and how they are used in the "your account" section of the site.

 

Article 7 - Access to points

If your subscription is cancelled either voluntarily or for any reason mentioned in the Terms of use and the Swensee code of conduct, account will be frozen and any points accumulated will be immediately and irretrievably lost. This action cannot be disputed.

 

Article 8 - Change

Swensee reserves the right to change the clauses of this programme, including the conditions of purchase and exchange of SwenPoints. Swensee will inform members of any such change or review of these conditions.

 

Article 9 - Disclaimer

Swensee, its affiliated companies and partners in the country, their administrators, directors, agents and employees are under no obligation to managers, in particular, but not exclusively, in relation to:

i) How the programme is managed, including failing to credit points to a member’s account, delaying to credit points to an account or withdrawing points from a members account;

ii) The availability of the programme, being able to accumulate SwenPoints or in relation to any benefit or service offered in recompense;

iii) The interruption, withdrawal or modification of the programme or its Terms and Conditions and all attendant consequences following the interruption, withdrawal or modification of the programme, including the loss of points accumulated in members’ accounts.

The sole obligation of Swensee and its partners is to provide the means, i.e., to do everything within its power to ensure that the SwenPoints programme can operate. Managers understand that this does not necessarily mean that they will be able to achieve that.

In any case, the maximum responsibility of any one of the above-mentioned parties in relation to any query regarding the programme or these conditions, including queries relating to the termination of the contract, is limited to the redemption of the points in question or, if there are no disputed points, to 0.01 Euro per SwenPoint in the member’s account at the moment of the dispute.
